PFDA began as a group of eight committed individuals, meeting for practices in Beit Sahour. By the beginning of 2016, the group had developed into an established club.  PFDA currently hosts weekly practices, clinics at local schools, training for coaches, and organizes other branches throughout Palestine. The association currently has five main coaches, four junior coaches, and around 100 registered players. ​
